The panoramic sliding roof is a combination of a glass top sliding roof with roller sun blind and a wind deflector as well as a stationary rear glass roof.When opened, the front glass section slides outwards over the stationary rear glass. Additional sun protection is provided by two electrically operated roller blinds installed in the center bar of the roof.

The panoramic sliding roof can only be opened when the roller sun blind is completely open.

^ Circuit 15R or 15 ON
^ Roller sun blind retracted.

Function
The panoramic sliding roof is a combination of sliding roof and tilting roof. When operated, it first moves into the tilt position. After that, the open sliding roof function can be executed.
Operation is by means of the roof switch (N70s1) in the overhead control panel control unit (N70)

The roof switch can be used to deploy the following functions:
^ Manually open/close roller sun blind
^ Automatically open roller sun blind
^ Manual open/close panoramic sliding roof
^ Automatically open panoramic sliding roof
^ Manually tilt/close panoramic sliding roof

Convenience functions
Another control possibility for the panoramic sliding roof is the convenience function, allowing central opening and closing of the windows from one control point
^ Convenience closing/opening via:
- Recirculated air function

^ Convenience closing via:
- Transmitter key (A8/1)
- Keyless Go (KG)
