1 Select "Information and communication" in the "Control units" menu.
2 Select "COMAND with integral audio gateway" in the "Audio, video, navigation and telematics" menu.
3 Select "Read coding and change if necessary" in the "Control unit adaptations" menu.
4 Set "Navigation system" to AVAILABLE in the "Additional settings" menu.
5 Set "Compass module" to NOT AVAILABLE.
6 Set "Navigation mode" to OFFROAD and then press F3
7 With F3: select "Yes", then press F2 to confirm the configuration carried out.
8 Perform quick test and delete fault codes.
