General
The Active Service System (ASSYST PLUS) can be used to display information in the instrument cluster's multifunction display.

The following information can be displayed:
- Service interval indicator
- Remaining distance
- Remaining time
- Fault and warning message on engine oil
- Oil level measurement messages initiated by driver
- Service memory full

The Active Service System (ASSYST PLUS) is operated using the instrument cluster's trip odometer reset button, which is located at the top in the center of the instrument cluster.

The warning indicators have differently colored backgrounds:
- White = priority 3
- Red = priority 2
- Red = Priority 1 (cannot be acknowledged)

Messages in the multifunction display are divided up into 3 categories according to their priority. Category 2 and 3 messages can be acknowledged by the driver using the trip odometer reset button. Messages of category 1 (highest priority) cannot be acknowledged.
