Location
The electronic rear axle level control valve unit is a component of the AIRmatic compressor unit is located on a bracket behind the bumper on the right.

Task
The two level valves rear left and rear right serve to adjust the vehicle level.

Function
If one of the level valves is actuated, air can be delivered into the corresponding bellows via the compressor (raise vehicle level). On the other hand, if the release valve is actuated when a level valve is actuated (with compressor switched off), air can escape from the bellows and the vehicle level is lowered.
