Actuation
This call can be activated by pressing the roadside assistance call button (symbol with wrench) in the MB-Info and telediagnosis button group (S93/6) for longer than 0.5 s. Activation of the system is indicated by the corresponding LED in the MB-Info and telediagnosis button group flashing. This is connected to the emergency call system control unit (N123/4) by discreet lines. The emergency call system control unit automatically completes a voice connection to the service center.

Telediagnosis call (roadside assistance call)
If this service is authorized and a higher priority service is not active, the emergency call system control unit sends an SMS to the service center. Any telephone connections active are interrupted for this purpose.
