GF77.20-P-3001RT Tilting/Sliding Roof Position Measurement, Function
GF77.20-P-3001RT Tilting/Sliding Roof Position Measurement, Function
- with CODE (414) Power glass tilting/sliding roof
- up to model year 08
Position measurement
The position counter in the overhead control panel control unit (N70) is incremented or decremented with each edge from Hall sensor 1, SR (M12b1) and Hall sensor 2, SR (M12b2).
The zero position is defined as the tilting roof open position, i.e. when the tilting roof is fully open the position counter is at zero. The zero position is set by the normalization function. The position recognition is always active except in the sleep mode, regardless of whether:
^ Circuit 30 missing,
^ switch and relay status.
Rotation direction recognition
Two Hall sensors offset 90°, Hall sensor 1, SR and Hall sensor 2, SR are located on the shaft of the SR motor (M12m1).
The Hall sensors output pulses for each rotation of the SR motor shaft. The overhead control panel control reads in these pulses Due to the time offset of the pulses the overhead control panel control unit recognizes the rotation direction of the SR motor.
