Component Identification:

The CD changer is installed in the glove box. The purpose of the CD changer is to play audio CDs and change the CDs contained in the magazine. It has a Media Oriented System Transport (MOST) interface and a wake-up line input.

The 6-disk CD changer can transfer digital audio signals in stereo. Only music CDs with the appropriate file format can be used (Red Book Audio CD Standard).

The CD changer has an automatic pull-in feature for six CDs. The CDs can be loaded centrally via a loading slot. Each CD can be loaded or removed individually with the six selection buttons on the CD changer.

The CD changer is a MOST bus subscriber and can be controlled via the COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3).
