GF28.19-P-3250GZ New Control and Display Concept

GF28.19-P-3250GZ New control and display concept

Component Identification:

Via the Downhill Speed Regulation switch, which is located in the upper control panel control unit, the driver can switch the Downhill Speed Regulation (downhill speed regulation) on or off. The preadjusted set speed is shown in the multifunction display of the instrument cluster. While driving downhill the set speed of Downhill Speed Regulation can be varied in a range of 4 to 18 km/h via the cruise control switch in 2 km/h steps.

In addition the driver can switch the off road function on or off via the off road program switch which is located in the upper control panel control unit.

The red LEDs integrated in the switches light up when the corresponding function is activated.

Component Identification:

Via the Low Range switch and differential lock selector wheel which are located in the lower control panel control unit the driver can operate the differential locks and ratios in the transfer case. The transfer case control unit (N15/7) and rear axle differential lock control unit take over the implementation (N15/9).

Using the LOW RANGE switch in the lower control panel control unit the driver can select the "High" on-road ratio or the "Low" off road ratio.

Using the Downhill Speed Regulation switch Downhill Speed Regulation can be switched on or off. The preadjusted set speed is shown in the multifunction display of the instrument cluster. While driving downhill the set speed of Downhill Speed Regulation can be varied in a range of 4 to 18 km/h via the cruise control switch in 2 km/h steps.

The driver can operate the differential locks via the differential lock selector wheel which is located in the lower control panel control unit.

The following stages are adjustable in the "High" on road ratio and "Low" off road ratio:
^ 1st stage: The transfer case differential (interaxle differential lock) is locked automatically
^ 2nd stage: The transfer case differential (interaxle differential lock) is locked manually (100 %)
^ 3rd stage: The transfer case differential (interaxle differential lock) and the rear axle differential (interwheel differential lock) are locked manually (100 %)

The red LEDs integrated in the switches light up when the corresponding function is activated.
