Y27/9 Left exhaust gas recirculation positioner

Location
The left exhaust gas recirculation actuator is located at the rear left next to the turbocharger.

Task
In order to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOX) emission the exhaust gas is led into the engine intake tract. This takes place via a duct, whose cross-section can be modified by the left exhaust gas recirculation positioner. The left exhaust gas recirculation positioner is actuated via the CDI control unit (N3/9).
