Component Identification:

Location
The coolant circulation pump is located in the engine compartment at the front left.

Task
The coolant circulation pump acts as a backup when the engine is running or when the residual heat or the stationary heater mode is switched on (with stationary heater, code 228) it pumps coolant through the heater heat exchanger.

Function
The coolant circulation pump is controlled directly by the AAC control and operating unit (N22) or comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7).
