Function prerequisites
- C. 15 ON or switch-on conditions of convenience actuation (e.g. after switching off c. 15 within 5 min. when doors are closed)

With manual raising/lowering function the corresponding power window motor is only actuated as long as the switch as pressed.
- To raise manually lift the corresponding power window switch.
- To lower manually press the corresponding power window switch.

Always press switches to first catch position

Function valid up to 31.08.01
To lower manually only press the left front power window switch (S21s1) and right front power window switch (S21s2) to the first catch position.

If the convenience relay (F1k14) is switched on (e.g. within 5 min. after switching off c. 15 with the doors closed), circuit 30 is switched to the corresponding motor when a switch is actuated.

Power window function valid as of 01.09.01
With left front power window switch (N72s1) and Right front power window switch (N72s2) in the lower control panel control module (N72) the front power windows can be operated With the left rear power window switch (N72s3) and Right rear power window switch (N72s4) the rear power windows can be operated.

Operation from rear seating area
With the left rear power window switch (N72/2s1) and the right rear power window switch (N72/2s2) in the rear control panel control module (N72/2) the rear power windows can be operated.

If the convenience relay (F2k8) is switched on (e.g. within 5 min. after switching off c. 15 with the doors closed), circuit 30 is switched to the corresponding motor when a switch is actuated.

The lower control panel control module (N72) has priority over the rear control panel control module (N72) when actuating the rear power windows.

Operation of the power windows with the rear control panel control module (N72/2) can be disabled with the rear power window safety switch (N72s5) in the lower control panel control module (N72).
