Remove/Install Roof Railing







Remove/Install

CAUTION: Avoid damaging paint

1 Unclip caps (1) from roof railing (2)
2 Unscrew screws for roof railing (3) from roof paneling

CAUTION: To facilitate removal heat screw heads with soldering gun, etc. (175 W, 4-5 min).

NOTE: Installation: Install new bolts.

- Screw for roof railing on roof paneling = 9 Nm

3 Unclip cap (7) from mounting plate (6)
4 Remove screw (4) roof railing to securing plate (6)
- Bolt, roof railing on mounting plate = 9 Nm

5 Remove roof railing (2)

CAUTION: Check seal below roof railing for damage and replace if necessary.

NOTE: Installation: Coat with sealing compound.

6 Unscrew screw for mounting plate (5) from roof railing
- Screw for roof railing on roof paneling = 9 Nm

7 Remove mounting plate (6)

CAUTION: Check seal below mounting plate for damage and replace if necessary.

NOTE: Installation: Coat with sealing compound.

8 Install in the reverse order
