Design:
The lower control panel control module (N72) essentially consists of the switches:
- Left front power window switch (N72s1 )
- Right front power window switch (N72s2 )
- Left rear power window switch (N72s3 )
- Right rear power window switch (N72s4 )
- Rear power window safety switch ( N72s5)
- Exterior mirror adjustment switch (N72s7 )
- Left or right exterior mirror adjustment selector switch (N72s8 )
- PTS switch (N72s13)
- Exterior mirror fold-in/out switch (N72s19)
- Central locking switch (N72s23)

The lower control panel control module (N72) has priority over the rear control panel control module (N72/2) when the power window functions are actuated.

The two control modules are linked by a separate 10-pin cable.

The switches integrated into the lower control panel control module (N72) are equipped with switch illumination and function illumination.
