Function
The data for voice output for guidance is originally stored on the navigation CD-ROM. It can be transferred to the non-volatile
navigation processor memory where it is then available for guidance with the aid of the CD-ROM drive for the radio and navigation unit (A2/56).

The language data is reloaded in the following cases:
Automatically following an interruption of the power to the radio and navigation unit (A2/56)
Manually, after activating the "SPRA" menu in the navigation mode.


NOTE: Loading of the language data requires approx. 20 s.


If the system is switched off while loading the language data, the language data is lost and must be reloaded. Avoid excessive vehicle vibration, .e.g. extremely rough roads) while loading the language data.


NOTE: The navigation processor is integrated into the radio and navigation unit (A2/56).
