Destination Guidance In Digitized MAP Area, Function
Display subdivision on radio and navigation unit (A2/56) during guidance operation
During trips within the digitized map area, the navigation processor provides the user with the following calculated information (some can be called up with the "I" (INFO) button):
Route list indicating length of route sections in question
Distance to destination and anticipated time of arrival (for this purpose, the time must be set)
Driving recommendations
Direction error
Current location:
Name of city and street, longitude and latitude
Name of street at which vehicle is to turn next
Distance to next turning point, indicated in units of length or as beam diagram (bar graph)
The navigation computer generates the graphic symbols for guidance.
Actual guidance is supported significantly by voice output over the vehicle loudspeakers.
