GF80.50-P-2003GH Deactivating Anti-Theft Alarm (ATA), Function

GF80.50-P-2003GH Deactivating Anti-Theft Alarm (ATA), Function
- with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA)

The anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated by:
- Unlocking the vehicle with the remote control key
- Inserting the remote control key into the ignition lock and turning into the radio position (circuit 15R)

In both cases the all-activity module (AAM) (N10) deactivates all alarm inputs. The ATA status indicator (E33) in the center console comes on for 10 s and then goes out.

Vehicles with Interior protection system and anti-towing sensor (AS): The AAM sends a command to deactivate the interior protection system and anti-towing sensor to the trip computer control module (N41).

Deactivation of the ATA leads to termination of any alarm triggered previously.
