GF80.50-P-2002GH Activating Anti-Theft Alarm (ATA), Function
GF80.50-P-2002GH Activating Anti-Theft Alarm (ATA), Function
- with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA)
Function requirement:
- No key in ignition lock (circuit 15c OFF)
Function
The anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated by
- locking the vehicle with the remote control key,
- relocking of the central locking.
- If self-arming is programmed in the version coding of the AAM: automatically 60 s after closing the last door provided no valid remote control key is inserted in the ignition lock.
The all-activity module (AAM) (N10) checks for each alarm input whether this is in the off state. If this is the case, this input is considered to be armed. As soon as all the inputs are armed, the ATA is completely activated.
Once the ATA has been completely activated, a feedback is provided to the driver:
- Continuous illumination of turn signal lights for 2 s
- Actuation of alarm signal horn (H3) for 100 ms
- The ATA status display (E33) flashes for 10 s at the frequency of 1 Hz. After this, it comes on briefly once a second.
If no complete activation takes place because, for example, one or several alarm inputs are not in the off state, only the armed inputs are monitored. No feedback is provided.
The ATA is reactivated automatically:
- following an undervoltage
- after the AAM was separated from the supply voltage provided it was previously active.
Only vehicles with interior motion sensor (IMS) and towing sensor (TS):
- When the ATA is activated, the towing sensor and interior motion sensor functions are armed provided they were not switched off at the trip computer (TRIP) control module (N41).
