Blind Spot Switch: Testing and Inspection

BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) OFF SWITCH INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement Removal and Replacement Removal and Replacement

2. Remove the BSM OFF switch. Service and Repair

3. Verify that the continuity between the BSM OFF switch terminals is as indicated in the table.






- If the continuity is not as indicated in the table, replace the BSM OFF switch.






4. Apply battery positive voltage to BSM OFF switch terminal E, and connect terminal A to ground.

5. Verify that the LED illuminates.

6. If there is any malfunction, replace the BSM OFF switch.
