Hood Latch Release Cable Routing




Removal and Installation

1. Remove the LH headlamp. For additional information, refer to Exterior Lighting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Hood Latch Service and Repair.

3. Remove the battery tray. For additional information, refer to Battery, Mounting and Cables Battery Tray.

4. Release the hood latch release cable routing clips.

5. Remove the Smart Junction Box (SJB). For additional information, refer to Multifunction Electronic Modules Smart Junction Box (SJB).

6. Remove the hood latch release handle bolt.
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

7. Remove the hood latch release cable.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
