Hood Latch Release Cable Routing




Removal and Installation

1. Remove the LH headlamp.

2. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Hood Latch Service and Repair.

3. Remove the battery tray. For additional information, refer to Battery.

4. Release the hood latch release cable routing clips.

5. Remove the Smart Junction Box (SJB). For additional information, refer to Body Control Systems.

6. Remove the hood latch release handle bolt.
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

7. Remove the hood latch release cable.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
