Normal Operation
When placing the range selector lever in a selected gear (R, N, D or (D)) the transmission will be in the correct gear for what was selected.

Possible Causes
When placing the range selector lever in a selected gear (R, N, D or (D)) and the transmission is not in the corresponding gear, the cause could be:
- Shift linkage out of adjustment
- Worn or broken shift cable
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
