Normal Operation
The keyless entry keypad grounds:
^ circuit 78 (LB/YE) when the 1/2 button is pressed.
^ circuit 79 (LG/RD) when the 3/4 button is pressed.
^ circuit 121 (YE/BK) when the 5/6 button is pressed.
^ circuit 122 (YE) when the 7/8 button is pressed.
^ circuit 123 (RD) when the 9/0 button is pressed.
The central security module receives the inputs from the keyless entry keypad and operates the locks.
Possible Causes
^ DTC B 1526 is set when any of the five keyless entry switch circuits is shorted to ground for more than two minutes.
^ circuit 78 (LB/YE) shorted to ground or open
^ circuit 79 (LG/RD) shorted to ground or open
^ circuit 121 (YE/BK) shorted to ground or open
^ circuit 122 (YE) shorted to ground or open
^ circuit 123 (RD) shorted to ground or open
^ circuit 124 (BN) open
