Test A: No Communication With The Tonneau Cover Module

Normal Operation
The tonneau cover module uses the International Standards Organization (ISO) 9141 communications network, which is a single wire network. The ISO 9141 communications network does not permit inter-module communication. When the diagnostic tool communicates to modules on the ISO 9141 communication network, the diagnostic tool must ask for all information; the module cannot initiate communications.

Possible Causes
^ Battery Junction Box (BJB) fuse 9 (15A)
^ circuit 70 (LB/WH) open
^ circuit 1619 (DB) open or shorted to ground
^ circuit 57 (BK) open
^ tonneau cover module
