Applicability
Introduction
Some 2013 GS350 vehicles may exhibit a condition where the HVAC system re-initializes after starting the vehicle. This can be identified by the climate control display coming on briefly shutting off then coming back on reading 75° F for both driver and front passenger zones. An improved A/C Amplifier has been made available to address this condition.

Inspection Procedure
1. With vehicle running and A/C system in "AUTO" mode, select temperatures other than 75° F for both front zones.
2. Turn off vehicle and let sit for a minimum of 30 minutes and turn ignition back on.
3. Check A/C panel operation for HVAC system re-initialization.
Did the climate control display turn on briefly, shut off, then turn back on reading 75 F for both driver and front passenger zones?
^ Yes - Proceed to the repair procedure.
^ No - This SB does not apply.
Repair procedure
1. Replace air conditioning amplifier behind HVAC panel.

2. Confirm normal A/C system operation from A/C panel.
