Applicability
Introduction
Some 2013 GS 350 vehicles may exhibit a condition where the trunk is hard to close. On rear spoiler equipped models, this may also be perceived as an unusual amount of force required to pull down the trunk lid. Follow the procedure in this bulletin to address the condition.

Repair Procedure
For Vehicles Without a Rear Spoiler:
1. Remove the 4 rubber cushions located in the lower portion of the luggage door.
2. Insert the 4 new rubber cushions.
3. Confirm successful repair.
For Vehicles With a Rear Spoiler:
1. Remove the luggage door hinge torsion bars. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

2. Install the new luggage door hinge torsion bars. Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

3. Remove the 4 rubber cushions located in the lower portion of the luggage door.
4. Insert the 4 new rubber cushions.
5. Confirm successful repair.
