LIGHTING: HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH

4. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH

(a) Remove the 7 screws and 5 clips on the front side of the front fender liner LH, and bend the front fender liner LH.





6. REMOVE DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT BULB

(a) Turn the back cover in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.





(b) Turn the headlight control ECU in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove the socket.





(c) Release the set spring lock as shown in the illustration and remove the discharge headlight bulb.





NOTICE:
Do not touch the glass part of the bulb.
