DESCRIPTION
A rear sunshade switch signal is sent from the integration control and panel assembly (No. 2 console switch) to the combination switch assembly (No. 1 console switch). Then the signal is sent through LIN communication to the outer mirror switch assembly, which then sends the signal through CAN communication to the luggage room junction block assembly (rear junction block ECU), and the rear sunshade operates.

1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Rear Sunshade System.
(b) Check for DTCs Rear Sunshade System.

2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CENTER CONSOLE SWITCH)
(a) Use the Data List to check if the rear sunshade switch is functioning properly Rear Sunshade System.
Center Console Switch
OK:
Rear sunshade raises or lowers.
NG -- INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH)
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
3. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH)
(a) Disconnect the No. 2 console switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal
