PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Rear Door Sunshade System.
(b) Check for DTC Rear Door Sunshade System.
Result
B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM CAN Communication System
A -- Continue to next step.
2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (REAR LEFT DOOR)
(a) Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the rear door sunshade system operates Rear Door Sunshade System.
Rear Left Door
OK:
Rear curtain is operated normally.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CURTAIN LH - REAR DOOR ECU LH)
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR CURTAIN LH - REAR DOOR ECU LH)
(a) Disconnect the O15 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the O16 curtain connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (REAR CURTAIN LH)
(a) Remove the rear curtain LH Removal.
(b) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear curtain LH.
Standard:
(c) Reconnect the rear curtain LH connector.
(d) Measure the waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPLACE REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- REPLACE REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH Removal
