INTERIOR: REAR DOOR SUNSHADE ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear curtain LH.

OK:





HINT
To prevent the motor from burning out, stop operation as soon as the rear curtain is fully raised or lowered.

CAUTION:
Be careful when the rear curtain raises and lowers. Something could get caught in the rear curtain and cause an injury.

2. INSPECT REAR CURTAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the rear curtain RH.

OK:





HINT
To prevent the motor from burning out, stop operation as soon as the rear curtain is fully raised or lowered.

Be careful when the rear curtain raises and lowers. Something could get caught in the rear curtain and cause an injury.

3. INSPECT CURTAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) for Fixed Seat Type:

Remove the curtain switch assembly Removal.

(b) for Power Seat:

Remove the curtain switch assembly Removal.

(c) for 5-Passenger with Ottoman:

Remove the curtain switch assembly Removal.





(d) Measure the voltage between the terminals when the switch is operated.

HINT
As the circuit has a diode, perform the measurement with the tester in diode mode.

Standard voltage:





If the result is not as specified, replace the curtain switch.

4. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the integration control and panel assembly Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel.
