How To Proceed With Troubleshooting





SUSPENSION CONTROL: AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

Use these procedures to troubleshoot the air suspension system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

2. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION

3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

4. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRIC POWER CONTROL SYSTEM)*

(a) Using the Techstream, check if the electric power control system is functioning normally Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Using the Techstream, check the electric power control system's load control history Operation Check.

5. CHECK ECUS CONNECTED TO CAN BUS*

(a) Check ECUs connected to CAN bus Diagnosis System.
