SUSPENSION CONTROL: REAR ACCELERATION SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
4. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal
6. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Removal
7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 1 LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT NO. 2 TRIM HOOK (w/o Rear Cooler) Removal
9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT Removal
10. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal
11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH Removal
12. REMOVE ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and sensor with bracket.
NOTICE:
* Avoid any impact to the suspension control acceleration sensor.
* Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
* The acceleration sensor removed from the vehicle must not be placed upside down.
