When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

1. HANDLING PRECAUTION

(a) When replacing the steering column:

If replacing the steering column, perform VGRS actuator angle initialization Initialization and VGRS actuator angle neutral calibration Calibration after alignment adjustment.
