1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ACCELERATOR PEDAL: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL

(a) Engage the 3 claws and install the new accelerator pedal.





NOTICE:
Securely insert a new accelerator pedal into the accelerator pedal support bracket.

2. INSTALL ACCELERATOR PEDAL SENSOR ASSEMBLY





NOTICE:
* Avoid physical shocks to the accelerator pedal sensor.
* Do not disassemble the accelerator pedal sensor.

(a) Connect the tip of the accelerator pedal sensor to the bracket.

(b) Install the accelerator pedal sensor with the 3nuts.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the accelerator pedal sensor connector.

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation

5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
