Reassembly
AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING UNIT (for Rear Side): REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY (REAR)
(a) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the hose joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(b) Install the 2 O-rings to the evaporator.
(c) Install the evaporator.
(d) Install the rear cooling unit case (lower side) with the 12 screws.
(e) Install the evaporator cover with the 4 screws.
2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONER HARNESS
(a) Attach the 2 clamps to install the wire harness.
3. INSTALL DRAIN COOLER HOSE
(a) Install the drain cooler hose as shown in the illustration.
4. INSTALL BLOWER WITH FAN (REAR) MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the motor with the 3 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
5. INSTALL SMOKE SENSOR
(a) Install the sensor with the screw.
(b) Connect the connector.
6. INSTALL EXHAUST MODE DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the damper servo with the 3 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
7. INSTALL DIFFUSE MODE DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the damper servo with the 2 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
8. INSTALL ROOF BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the damper servo with the 2 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
9. INSTALL ROOF BLOWER DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the damper servo with the 2 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
10. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION PIPE A
(a) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the pipe joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(b) Install the 2 O-rings to the cooler refrigerant suction pipe A.
(c) Install the cooler refrigerant suction pipe A to the evaporator.
(d) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, install the 2 hexagon bolts.
Torque : 3.5 Nm (35 kgf-cm, 30 in-lbf)
11. INSTALL REAR COOLING UNIT EXPANSION VALVE
(a) Install the expansion valve to the cooler refrigerant suction pipe A.
(b) Attach the clamp.
(c) Connect the connector.
12. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A
(a) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the pipe joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(b) Install the 2 O-rings to the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A.
(c) Install the cooler refrigerant liquid pipe A to the expansion valve.
(d) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, install the 2 hexagon bolts.
Torque : 3.5 Nm (35 kgf-cm, 30 in-lbf)
(e) Install the plate with the screw.
(f) Install new packing and butyl tape as shown in the illustration.
13. INSTALL REAR COOLER FILTER
(a) Install the rear cooler filter as shown in the illustration.
14. INSTALL NO. 2 COOLER AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the 2 screws.
15. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER AIR DUCT
(a) Install the duct with the 2 screws.
