Disassembly





BRAKE: BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE BRAKE STROKE SIMULATOR TUBE

(a) Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake stroke simulator tube from the brake master cylinder with simulator.





2. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 nuts labeled A, brake master cylinder bracket labeled B and brake master cylinder gasket labeled C.





3. REMOVE BRAKE STROKE SIMULATOR CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts labeled A, brake stroke simulator bracket labeled B, brake master cylinder gasket labeled C and brake stroke simulator cylinder labeled D.





4. REMOVE MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

(a) Remove the push rod clevis and lock nut.

HINT
If the protrusion of the push rod in relation to the push rod clevis is measured beforehand, it is easier to perform the brake pedal height adjustment after the brake master cylinder with simulator is installed.





5. DISASSEMBLE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the screw and brake master cylinder reservoir.





(b) Remove the 2 reservoir grommets from the brake master cylinder.
