BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY: INSPECTION
1. CHECK BRAKE CONTROL POWER SUPPLY ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
Immediately after removing the brake control power supply from the vehicle, there may be an electrical charge left in the internal capacitor. If planning to inspect the inside of the brake control power supply, leave it as is for more than 24 hours (to discharge it) after removing it from the vehicle. Then perform the inspection.
(a) Check the brake control power supply. If any of the following occurs, replace the brake control power supply assembly with a new one:
* The surface of the brake control power supply is cracked, dented or chipped.
* The connector is scratched, cracked or damaged.
* The brake control power supply has been dropped.
