Operation Check

SEAT: SEAT VIBRATION SYSTEM: OPERATION CHECK

HINT
* Turn off all functions by turning the engine switch off.
* Turn the engine switch from off to on (IG) to initialize all LEDs, all operations and the timer function.

1. Inspect MANUAL function

(a) Inspect air operation. (w/ Ottoman)





(1) Turn the engine switch on (IG) (stop mode).

(2) Turn the seat vibrator switch ON (standby mode).

(3) In MANUAL mode, turn the SHOULDER or BACK switch ON. Check that the air operation operates.





(4) Check that the INTENSITY switch has 3 levels (low to high) and the SPEED switch has 3 levels (slow to fast).

(b) Inspect vibration operation. (w/ Ottoman)

(1) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(2) When the vibrator switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator operates.





HINT
The seat vibrator operation and air operation are separate and independent of each other.

(3) Check that the vibration speed can be switched between 3 levels with the vibrator switch.

(c) Inspect vibration operation. (w/o Ottoman)

(1) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(2) When the vibrator switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator operates.





(3) Check that the vibration speed can be switched between 3 levels with the vibrator switch.

(d) Inspect the forward and backward position adjustment function.

(1) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(2) When the lumbar support switch is turned ON, check that the seat vibrator moves forward and backward.





2. Inspect PROGRAM function (w/ Ottoman)





(a) Turn the engine switch on (IG) (stop mode).

(b) Turn the seat vibrator switch ON (standby mode).

(c) When the SHIATSU switch is pressed, check that the shoulder and lower back areas operate in combination with each other.





(d) When the STRETCH switch is pressed, check that the shoulder and lower back areas operate in combination with each other.

(e) Check that the INTENSITY switch has 3 levels (low to high) and the SPEED switch has 3 levels (slow to fast).

3. Inspect LED illumination (w/ Ottoman)

(a) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(b) Turn the seat vibrator switch ON.

(c) Check that when each seat vibrator switch is pressed, its respective LED illuminates.

(d) Check that when the headlight dimmer switch is turned on, each LED dims.

4. Inspect timer function (w/ Ottoman)

(a) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(b) Turn the seat vibrator switch ON.

(c) Choose a function on the seat vibrator switch and start its operation.

HINT
The 15 minute timer counts down from the time that the function is first operated.

(d) After 15 minutes have passed, check that the following operations occur.

* The seat vibrator switch turns OFF.

* All LEDs turn off.

* The air operation stops after releasing the air.
