DESCRIPTION
A rear seat heater main switch signal is sent from the No. 2 console switch (Integration control & panel) to the No. 1 console switch (combination switch). Then the signal is sent through LIN communication to the outer mirror switch, which then sends the signal through CAN communication to the rear power seat module switch, and the rear seat heater operates.

NOTICE:
First perform the communication function inspections in How to Proceed with Troubleshooting to confirm that there are no CAN communication and LIN communication malfunctions before troubleshooting this problem.
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (SEAT HEATER SWITCH)
(a) Use the Data List to check if the rear sunshade switch is functioning properly.
Center Console Switch
OK:
On screen, each item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
NG -- INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH)
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH)
2. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH)
(a) Disconnect the No. 2 console switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY (NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH) Removal
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH)
