Rear Power Seat Motor Assembly (for Ottoman)

SEAT: REAR POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Check the operation of the rear seat adjuster.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat adjuster.

2. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Check the operation of the rear seat adjuster.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat adjuster.

3. INSPECT REAR SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Check the operation of the seatback spring.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seatback assembly.

4. INSPECT REAR SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Check the operation of the seatback spring.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seatback assembly.

5. INSPECT REAR SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Check the operation of the reclining adjuster.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the power seat motor.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat reclining adjuster.

6. INSPECT REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Check the operation of the headrest adjuster.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the headrest adjuster.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the headrest adjuster.
