SEAT: FRONT POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the front seat assembly Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH Disassembly

6. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH Disassembly

10. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH (except 5-Passenger with Ottoman) Disassembly

11. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD Disassembly

12. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST INFLATOR (w/ Active Headrest) Removal

13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.





(b) Detach the 2 hooks and remove the dynamic damper frame.

(c) Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and disconnect the connector.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts.





(e) Detach the 2 claws and remove the headrest adjuster.

14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Retractable Headrest)

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and headrest motor from the seatback frame.





(c) Remove the 4 bolts and detach the 2 claws.

(d) Remove the headrest adjuster.

(e) Detach the 2 claws and remove the motor.





15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH Disassembly

17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH Disassembly

18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LOWER Disassembly

19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING Disassembly

20. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION PLATE Disassembly

21. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEAT TRAVEL LINK Disassembly

22. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEAT TRAVEL LINK Disassembly

23. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU (w/ Climate Control Seat System) Disassembly

24. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System) Disassembly

25. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Removal

26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH





(a) Remove the bolt.

(b) Disconnect the connectors and detach the wire harness clamps and remove the seat wire.
