Reassembly

SLIDING ROOF: SLIDING ROOF HOUSING: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL ROOF WIND DEFLECTOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 2 pins to install the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.





NOTICE:
Check and be sure that the spring indicated by the arrow in the illustration is securely installed.





2. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Hold down the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.





(b) Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding drive cable sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to install it.





HINT
* Hold the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly down until the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly runs on the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.
* Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) Install the 2 sliding roof side stoppers with the 2 screws.





3. INSTALL REAR ROOF DRIP CHANNEL





(a) Move the rear roof drip channel forward from the rear side of the sliding roof housing, and install the rear roof drip channel to the sliding roof housing.

(b) Attach the 2 claws to install the rear roof drip channel.

4. ADJUST SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a screwdriver, align the matchmarks by sliding the drive cable in the directions indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

5. INSTALL SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Insert the sunshade trim into the sliding roof housing.

(b) Install the sliding roof piece LH and RH with the 2 screws.





6. INSTALL SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the drive gear with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (5.5 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(b) Attach the bracket's claw to install the bracket.
