EXTERIOR: NAME PLATE: INSTALLATION

HINT
When installing the emblem and name plate, heat the vehicle body, emblem and name plate using a heat light.

Standard:





NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body, emblem or name plate excessively.

1. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM

(a) Clean the vehicle body surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Install a new symbol emblem.





(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new symbol emblem.

(2) Remove the peeling paper from the face of the symbol emblem.

NOTICE:
After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(3) Install the symbol emblem.

2. INSTALL NO. 3 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

(a) Clean the vehicle body surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Install a new No. 3 luggage compartment door name plate.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new No. 3 luggage compartment door name plate.

(2) Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 3 luggage compartment door name plate.

(3) Align the application sheet as shown in the illustration and install the No. 3 luggage compartment door name plate.

(4) Remove the application sheet.





3. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR NAME PLATE

(a) Clean the vehicle body surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Install a new No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and a new No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

(2) Remove the peeling paper from the face of the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

(3) Align the perforations of the application sheet with the luggage compartment door outside garnish end lines as shown in the illustration and install the No. 2 luggage compartment door name plate.

(4) Remove the application sheet.
