1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
* If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding to the next step.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. BASIC INSPECTION
(a) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(b) Check whether or not the radio receiver assembly turns on.
Result

A -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK FOR DTC*
(a) Refer to DTC Check/Clear of the navigation system or electro multi vision system.
* Refer to Navigation System (for DVD) Navigation System (for DVD).
* Refer to Navigation System (for HDD) Navigation System (for HDD).
* Refer to Electro Multi Vision System Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

After the check using the Techstream, check the "System Check Mode" screen as necessary.

5. DTC CLEAR*
(a) Refer to DTC Check/Clear of the navigation system or electro multi vision system.

* Refer to Navigation System (for HDD) Navigation System (for HDD).
* Refer to Electro Multi Vision System Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

The current DTCs may not indicate actual malfunctions depending on the vehicle operating conditions.

6. RECHECK FOR DTC*
(a) Refer to DTC Check/Clear of the navigation system or electro multi vision system.
* Refer to Navigation System (for DVD) Navigation System (for DVD).
* Refer to Navigation System (for HDD) Navigation System (for HDD).
* Refer to Electro Multi Vision System Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

HINT
* Even if the malfunction symptom is not confirmed, check for diagnostic trouble codes. This is because the system stores past diagnostic trouble codes.
* After the check using the Techstream, check the "System Check Mode" screen as necessary.
* Check the diagnostic trouble code and inspect the area code indicates.

7. DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
(a) Find the output code in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart Audio and Visual System (w/ Multi-Display).
NOTICE:
* The navigation system outputs DTCs for the following systems.
* When DTCs other than the codes in Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the audio and visual system are output, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart for the following systems.
* Refer to Navigation System (for DVD).
* Refer to Navigation System (for HDD).
* Refer to Electro Multi Vision System.
* Refer to Rear Seat Entertainment System.
* Refer to Advanced Parking Guidance System.
