DESCRIPTION

The multi-display dims the display and panel switches by receiving a TAIL cancel signal from the main body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - MAIN BODY ECU)

(a) Disconnect the L59 display and navigation module display connector.

(b) Disconnect the L12 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (OUTPUT SIGNAL)

(a) Reconnect the L12 main body ECU connector.





(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the light control switch to the TAIL or HEAD position.

(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
