DESCRIPTION

This is the display signal from the video terminal to the display and navigation module display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY - VIDEO TERMINAL)

(a) w/o Disc Player:

(1) Disconnect the L118 display and navigation module display connector.

(2) Disconnect the L78 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(b) for Roof with Disc Player:

(1) Disconnect the L118 display and navigation module display connector.

(2) Disconnect the Y3 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(c) for Console Box with Disc Player:

(1) Disconnect the L118 display and navigation module display connector.

(2) Disconnect the U2 video (video adapter) terminal connector.

(3) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK VIDEO (VIDEO ADAPTER) TERMINAL

(a) w/o Disc Player:

(1) Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions as shown in the table below.

C -- REPLACE POWER OUTLET SOCKET (VIDEO [VIDEO ADAPTER] TERMINAL) Removal

D -- REPLACE CONSOLE BOX PLATE (VIDEO [VIDEO ADAPTER] TERMINAL) Removal
