Advanced Parking Guidance System
PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ADVANCED PARKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR
1. CHECK FOR DTC (USING TECHSTREAM)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Start the engine.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Advanced Parking Guidance System / Trouble Codes.
(e) Check for DTCs.
2. CHECK FOR DTC (USING DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY SCREEN)
(a) Start diagnostic mode.
* Navigation system for HDD: Navigation System (for HDD)
* Navigation system for DVD: Navigation System (for DVD)
(b) Select "Failure Diagnosis" on the "Service Menu" screen.
(c) Select "System Check" on the "Failure Diagnosis" screen.
(d) The "System Check Mode" screen will be displayed.
(e) Read the system check result.
(1) If the check result is "EXCH" or "CHEK", touch the displayed check result.
HINT
When all the results are "OK", this means that no DTCs are stored.
(2) View the results on the "Unit Check Mode" screen and record them.

(3) When proceeding to view the results of another device, press the "Back" switch to return to the "System Check Mode" screen.
HINT
To check other items, repeat from the first step.
(f) Finish diagnostic mode.

3. CLEAR THE DTC (USING TECHSTREAM)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Start the engine.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Advanced Parking Guidance System / Trouble Codes.
(e) Clear the DTCs.
4. CLEAR THE DTC (USING DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY SCREEN)
(a) Start diagnostic mode.
* Navigation system for HDD: Navigation System (for HDD)
* Navigation system for DVD: Navigation System (for DVD)
(b) Select "Failure Diagnosis" on the "Service Menu" screen.
(c) Select "System Check" on the "Failure Diagnosis" screen.
(d) The "System Check Mode" screen will be displayed.
(e) Clear the DTCs.
(1) Press the "Memory CLR" switch for 3 seconds.
(2) Confirm that the check results are cleared.
HINT
* To clear the DTC for a specific device, clear the DTC using the "Unit Check Mode" screen.
* When clearing a DTC using the "Unit Check Mode" screen, press the "Code CLR" switch for 3 seconds.
(f) Recheck for DTCs.
(1) Press the "Recheck" switch.
(2) Confirm that all check results are "OK" when the check results are displayed. If a result other than "OK" is displayed, troubleshoot again.
HINT
When a DTC was cleared using the "Unit Check Mode" screen, press the "Back" switch to return to the "System Check Mode" screen and perform this operation.
(g) Finish diagnostic mode.
