U1000 - Can Communication Failure(Message Registry)
DESCRIPTION
When the self-diagnosis of the parking assist ECU determines that the ECU has a CAN communication system circuit malfunction, this DTC is output.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
* When "System initializing" is displayed on the display and navigation module display after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Initialization.
* Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the advanced parking guidance system may be needed Calibration.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

HINT
* If CAN communication system DTCs are stored, they may also be stored in other systems.
* If the CAN communication system has been inspected and repaired in other systems, the DTCs will not be output when rechecking for DTCs
* If these DTCs are stored frequently, duplicate the conditions that cause the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again even if the DTC was not output when rechecking for DTCs How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
