C1AE7 - Rear Left Center Sensor Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
The No. 1 ultrasonic sensor (rear left center sensor) is installed on the rear bumper. The ECU detects obstacles based on signals received from the rear left center sensor. If the rear left center sensor has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and move the shift lever to R. Then clear the DTC.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.

2. REPLACE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (REAR LEFT CENTER SENSOR)
(a) Replace the ultrasonic sensor Removal with a normally functioning sensor.

(a) Clear the DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
(b) Check for DTCs Intuitive Parking Assist System.
