C1A4A - Skid Control Buzzer Circuit
DESCRIPTION
When the skid control ECU detects a malfunction in the skid control buzzer circuit, a malfunction signal is sent to the driving support ECU and a DTC is stored.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
(a) Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the skid control buzzer sounds Scan Tool Testing and Procedures.
ABS/VSC/TRC
OK:
Skid control buzzer sounds.
NG -- GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
(a) Replace the skid control ECU Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
HINT
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
(1) Drive the vehicle at a 50 km/h (31 mph) or more, and operate lane-keeping assist system.
(b) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC C1A4A is not output.
NG -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU Removal
OK -- END (SKID CONTROL ECU IS DEFECTIVE)
