C1A47 - Steering Angle Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU receives steering rotation angle information from the steering angle sensor, and sends the information to the driving support ECU through the CAN communication line.

When DTC C1A47 is detected, DTC C1231 is also output from the "ABS/VSC/TRAC".





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)

(a) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Code /

(b) Select "Clear" and clear the data.

(c) Recheck for DTC.

OK:

DTC C1231 is not output.

NG -- GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM Electronically Controlled Brake System

OK -- REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU Removal
